Fixing Access Annoyances: How to Fix the Most Annoying Things about Your Favorite Database Review by W. Culpepper
A darn good reference book!
I purchased this book in 2006, when it first came out, here it is 2010, and I've used it 25 times in the last 4 months for a project that's valued at nearly $75,000! It's written as though the authors randomly interviewed 100 Access users/Jr. developers and asked, "tell us 10 problems you've encountered that you couldn't find the answers to address and correct them?" and all of those answers are in this book. The TOC is traditionally organized (tbl, qry, frm, etc..) But it really shines in the index, that's how I find every answer to every question...the index. So many books don't invest the time and thought into building a solid, well-references index but not this one! It's answers are clear, concise and many times show you that there is more than one route to a destination (very important!).
I recommend this to ANYONE who is even 'tinkering' with Access, you won't be sorry you spent the money, I promise.
I am giving 4 stars rather than 5 because it's only 340 pages, and any of us who work with this product know that it could easily be 500 and barely scratch the surface.
