SUSE Linux 10 For Dummies Review by James Foley
The SUSE flavor of Linux, each distro brings its own accent
I purchased this among other linux distros to see which one I like best. SUSE uses the KDE desktop primarily (though it can be built using gnome).
I purchase the "For Dummies" linux books because they assume less than other books for educating a linux newbie like me.
All I can say is to try them for yourself to see which you prefer. Since purchasing this book (and install dvd included) I settled on Ubuntu.
While the OS is free, the books do cost but are worth it.
