NetBeans(TM) IDE Field Guide: Developing Desktop, Web, Enterprise, and Mobile Applications Review by H. Moter
Hasn't been useful so far.
I bought the Field Guide shortly after starting to use NetBeans a couple months ago. To be honest, I really haven't used this book.
NetBeans is pretty intuitive and there's a lot of documentation available in Help and online. There are some good tutorials online that will get you up to speed faster than a 500 page hardcopy walkthrough.
Maybe it will prove to be a useful reference some day, but I doubt it.
Just my opinion.
