A+ Certification Practice Questions Exam Cram 2 (Exams: 220-301, 220-302) Review by Kyle
This book is absolute garbage
I hate this book. You get too about, I'm guessing page 200 and it literally says something along the lines of, "If you didn't understand what we said in the last 200 pages, than that's ok because just about none of it is on the test". What in the hell am I reading this piece of garbage book for?! TO PASS A TEST! I don't want to read about the garbage you feel like craming down my throat, seemingly just for the heck of it; I want to take the test darnit! By the way, I failed the exam I took. Half of the questions in the exam weren't covered in the book. The exam cram questions might as well been hygene or etiquite questions because 90%-95% of them had no resemblance, or were helpful whatsoever to the questions on the actual test.
Also, the book is laced with pathetic attempts at humor throughout the whole thing. I'm sorry but I didn't find any of the "jokes" humorous and all of them were a waste of my time.
For some reason this book seems to think the history of the computer is relevant to the exam when the exam doesn't have 1 SINGLE questions about a computer older than windows 98, and had 0 questions about the actual history of a PC. "The XT motherboard was invented by blah blah, who than invented the XT IMB 2000... 20 pages later.... Than the inventor died and they had a funeral for him". Well, that's great, thanks for the info, what did I just learn? Oh, that's right, absolutly nothing.
Realistically, they could have slimmed this trash-heap of a book into about 200 pages. I would highly reccomend against using this book for anything either than a campfire, or toilet paper.
