better to read oracle doc on RAC

This book is really not special. Why the author still try to cover so many topics that are not really related to RAC? I'm thinking that oracle documentation is better to read, beside it's free.
If you have already familiar with oracle architecture, and have some exposure to RAC env, you will feel dissatisfied buying this book.
