Great Book, but problems with the companion CD
This book is well organized, well written, and helpful. Finding specific information is fairly easy, and the author covers a wide range of information.
However, the reason I will not rate it at 5 stars or even 4 is the issues that I expereinced while trying to access the sample databases on the companion CD. After my initial error, I figured it might be an administrative privledges issue on my work computer, so I tried opening the file on my personal computer. No luck. Then I tried it on a coworkers computer. No luck. This is extremely frustrating because the book uses sample databases as examples to view specific objects and property sets. What makes this even worse, is that I have been unable to contact the resources the book lists for troubleshooting issues. I feel like I have been ripped off by a publisher that does not support their product.
Because so much is gained from poking around in sample databases, I would NOT recommend this book due to the risk of not being able to download the sample databases. I would recommend a non-Microsoft product in hopes of better customer support.
