Bad book

I got a book, Java for Dummies, and then thought i needed a book on Java PROGRAMMING. I was right, but this was the WRONG book. It put me to sleep, didn't cover anything that well, and in the 2nd chapter, it showed a 12 page Java code! it said "you won't be doing this, but this is REAL java code" i just really thought the stupid book wasn't worth the money i invested
