Lack of consistency in examples

I found the examples very distracting. In the space of a page or two pages, the author skips from diagram to diagram, completely changing the subject, while the underlying topic stays the same. It would be good if he stayed with the same example. Moreover the examples are kind of extreme, not what you'd meet in a real project (car sends the 'getGasoline()' message to the gasStation).

For sure he's attempting an approach that few authors do. Thats what drew me to this book, but it was frustrating
