Ann Navarro, of the W3C XHTML Working Group, has written a comprehensive introduction, but a clear and concise that would be great value for both new entrants (booklet to be given to take) and more experienced (it is detailed and thorough). Starting with the picture of the basics of the new structure of XHTML, identifying differences from HTML 4, and then moved to his introduction to semantics, Navarro is always a steady guide, providing many examples of code to help clarify the situation. This book discusses the essential Web such as forms, tables, and frames and proceed with further chapters on XHTML style, CSS and XSL, modularization, and the future of language. XHTML by Example comes highly recommended for those who like their computer books are written clearly and was not very fond of the swamp of tedious detail often.
