All three classes of antennas are thoroughly treated in three interrelated parts: * Part One, Electrically Small Antennas, beginning with a discussion of the fundamental limitations of bandwidth and matching, then provides detailed design information on loaded whips and dipoles, ferrite loops, patches with an unusual substrate, and dielectric resonator antenna. Besides exploring designs that work, the authors define an antenna design that is based on good physics yet are poor performers, as well as designs with both poor underlying physics and poor performance. * Part Two, Superdirective Antenna, sets forth basic skills and limitations of antenna superdirective, both holes and arrays, and investigates bandwidth, efficiency, and tolerance. The author explores the magnification of the intrinsic losses of suitable circuits for large mismatch and evaluate non-Foster recently and promised a matching circuit. * Part Three, superconducting antennas, reviews the concept of superconductivity and new principles for the dipole, loop, and patch antennas.
