This book proves that you do not have to master all the details of XML to harness its power for real-world projects on the Web. After introducing XML and explains its ability to standardize the exchange of information in corporate computing, this book turned into today's Java XML parser, like XML to Java and the Simple API for Java (SAX), which greatly simplifies the development of XML. By using two APIs, this book shows how to parse an XML document. Furthermore, the author shows how to create XML documents from scratch and modifying the XML tree structure. JDBC for database programming and also received coverage in a very good example to show how XML can be parsed into a SQL query and then translated back into other XML documents. The book also discusses how XML information exchange, especially as an alternative to Electronic Document Interchange (EDI) format, and then rounds out with the security of XML, JavaBeans components for the Java version of XML, and sample Web application which aggregates content from XML travel several Web sites. Appendix A lists all the XML for Java API. In all, with a format that is clear and prominent examples of code, XML and Java is an interesting resource for Java developers approaching XML for the first time.
