And although questions like 'what is design', 'what is engineering' and 'what science', which can be debated in long sessions, and the differences that are difficult to explain, it is possible to feel the difference. In general the engineering discipline is expanding into areas that include the perspectives of more disciplines and actors, in addition to engineers who are responsible for the artifact. The first volume in this study in Design Series stresses the stakeholder oriented approach to domain architecture and urban planning (Binnekamp, van Gunsteren, & van Loon, 2006). This is the area where the involvement of different stakeholders with different interests in the design process, especially the critical success factors.
