COST (European Cooperation in the field of Scientific and Technical Research) is a framework for scientific and technical cooperation, allowing the coordination of national research at European level. The main objective of this Action is to improve existing tools and develop new models and simulation tools for the study of emerging multi-service telecommunications networks in the field of performance improvement models, multilayer traffic modeling, and the important issue of evaluation and validation of new modeling tools.
