Analog-Baseband Circuits Architecturees and presents the architecture and circuit techniques for wireless transceivers to achieve compliance multistandar and low voltage. The first part of the book reviews the physical layer specifications of modern wireless communication standards, presents a fundamental sacrifice involved in selecting transceiver architectures, and provides case studies of transceiver multistandar state-of-the-art, in which the key techniques reinforced highlighted and discussed. Summary statistics (with 100 + references cited) transmitters that are used most and receiver architecture for modern communication standards is provided. All references citied of the leading forums, ie, ISSCC, CICC, VLSI and ESSCIRC, from 1997 to 2005. The second part focuses on architectural design multistandar transceiver. This, through reconfiguration basebands analog receiver and transmitter, allowing not only the relaxation of the RF frequency synthesizer? S S and local oscillator design specifications?, But also compliance with the synthesis multistandar efficient low-IF and zero-IF in the receiver, and straight-up and two step-up in the transmitter. Not only has the two-step channel selection embedded, but also features a flexible-IF topology, a unique floorplan 3D-stack, and a specific design methodology for high testability and routability. The third agreement with the circuit design. In addition to methodical description of many circuit techniques LV, 3 tailormade LV-strong functional blocks are presented. save silicon area required to realize a large time constant on the chip while maximizing its switchability upper limit for fast-pole dc-offset transient. The final section presents the results of experiments from 3 custom-made building blocks and an analog-baseband IC that integrates made in standard-VTH CMOS process.
