The idea of combining multi-agent systems and complex networks are also very rich and fresh to encourage research on the study of multi-agent systems a very large scale. Even the latest developments in network modeling has not offered us any capability to model dynamic processes among the agents who interact at all scales in complex networks. This book is based on communications given at the Workshop on Emerging Network Intelligence Agency (Wein 06) at the Fifth International Joint Conference on Autonomous Agents and Multi-agent Systems (AAMAS 2006), held at Future University, Hakodate, Japan, from May 8 to 12, 2006. 06 Wein primarily intended to increase the awareness of researchers in both fields share a common view on combining agent-based modeling and complex networks in order to develop insight and predictive methodology adopted in the study of intelligence agents appear on the network. The papers contained in this book is concerned with the emergence of intelligent behavior of the agent network and encourage the formation of a multi-disciplinary community that is active in multi-agent systems and complex networks.
