Method platform-centric SoC design addressed today s SoC system? With an emphasis on real-time, embedded systems. This approach provides guidance and SoC design environment that promotes the integration of equipment state-of-the-art and techniques required for system development. Remainder of this book presents a more detailed examination of the issues and proposed approaches. Chapter 2 describes the proposed platform-centric SoC design method in detail. The chapter concludes by comparing the proposed approach with previous related work. Chapter 3 describes the background technology for SoC design method proposed. While the technology platform is discussed in Chapter 2, this chapter gives an overview of the other two fundamental technologies: the Unified Modeling Language (UML) and Extensible Markup Language (XML). After that, an overview of XML and some other Internet-related technologies occur. Chapter 4 outlines the structure of the platform library object (LPO), and polish comprehensive guidelines and specifications of the requirement that the object must have a platform to be scalable and compatible with the proposed approach. generic utility profile (PCUprofile), Exception Modeling profile (EMprofile), the Interrupt Modeling profile (IMprofile), who synthesized profile Hardware Description Language (SHDLprofile), and the Architecture Blueprint profile (ABprofile). Each complete profile design framework specifically designed for the proposed approach, and may be able to meet the challenges posed by the design and test real-time embedded systems based SoC. Chapter 6 apply the method of platform-centric SoC design, using CMF in UML profiles, for the development of a digital camera system is simplified so as to demonstrate the use and robustness of the proposed approach. This chapter begins with an overview of the system Altera? NIOS, followed by the construction of the actual system that explicitly shows the proposed approach. A quantitative evaluation are then presented that compares the cost of developing methods of platform-centric SoC design to the alternative proposed several approaches using cost estimation models and tools. Chapter 7 concludes the book with a summary and discussion of future directions for this effort on the design-based platforms.
