With the advent of `multimedia ', digital signal processing (DSP) of sound that emerged from the shadow of the bandwidth limited speech processing into its own research field. Until now, most research in DSP applied to sound has been concentrated in his speech, the bandwidth is limited to about 4 kilohertz. Currently, the main applications of high-quality audio DSP audio coding and digital generation and manipulation of music signals. Additional important topic of hearing aids that use signal processing technology and hardware architecture for digital signal processing audio. Frequency range of wideband audio has the upper limit of 20 kilohertz and the resulting difference in frequency range and Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) because the sample size should be taken into account when designing DSP algorithms.
