For anyone learning the programming language Scheme, the second edition of Simply Scheme: Introducing Computer Science is very easy to digest book provides tutorial-style introduction to this powerful and elegant language. In the words of the author, Simply Scheme is designed to be a "prequel" to another book, Structure and Interpretation of Computer Programs. This tutorial emphasizes the small parts on the main language features, from basic functions, variables, and then to recursion and concepts the concept of functional programming.
