While ASP in short is not intended to become a full Active Server Pages tutorial from Microsoft (ASP) technology, it offers a great way for experienced Web coders to roads in ASP. The author clearly explains how ASP works and how the server side component can work with ASP code to further extend the functionality of a server-side. The core of this book is a reference object for ASP coding. Six chapters document all ASP objects and programmable buttons each covering an area of feedback / Solve Problems, Properties Reference, Reference Methods, and Events Reference and offer further explanatory text where necessary. He closed the middle of this book with detailed instructions and pre-processing files Global.ASA. The last part of this book discusses the ActiveX Data Objects, NT Server Collaboration Data Objects, and a number of server components (such as Ad Rotator, Content Rotator, My Info, Page Counter, Permission Checker and) in depth.
