This book presents an inductive databases and constraint-based data mining, emerging research topics lie at the intersection of data mining and database research. Of special interest is a new method for mining constraint-based global model for prediction and clustering, pooling pattern mining approach through constraint programming, clarification of the relationship between mining local patterns and global models, and the proposed framework and integrative approach to inductive databases.
