This edited volume focuses on the application run-time model for design and management of autonomous systems. The model also can be used at run-time to assess the compliance system is running in connection with the design-time model, to measure the real performance of the system parameters to fill the gap between design and run-time. In such situations, traditional techniques to evaluate the performance of steady-state system can only provide rough estimates of system behavior and ineffective to respond to fluctuating workloads.
