Therefore, some Web designers divide long sections into several pages of information so that each page presents a small, easily digestible pieces. Spry Tabbed Panels provide an alternative (see Figure 13-1). Rather than making one long page, or several smaller pages, you can organize information into a separate tab panels. Adding the Tabbed Panels You can place the Spry tab panel anywhere on the web page. But because the tabs form a single line at the top of the panel, you need enough space to accommodate all the tabs horizontally. Unless you have only a few tabs with text labels one word, you must put the tab panels in space that is wide enough, as the main column of a web page, or the entire width of the page. Set up your page? S content to the panel are easily accessible by the Spry Tabbed Panels widget. Click the tab to open a new panel? S value information without having the browser to load new web pages. Select Insert> Spry> Spry Tabbed Panels, or, on the Insert panel? S Spry category, click one of the Spry Tabbed Panel? Button s (see Figure 13-2). You can find all the items on the panel Insert s Spry Spry category (Figure 13-2, left);?? You'll also find some Spry widgets (including the panel tabs) is listed under the category of layout (Figure 13-2, right), and other Spry buttons are grouped in another tab (Spry form validation widgets appear below the Form tab, for example). After you enter a tab panel, you see two tabs and two panels on the page (Figure 13-3), in addition, a blue tab appears on the top panel shows the Spry widgets. Note: When you save a page after entering the Spry Tabbed Panels, Dreamweaver tells you that he has added two files to the site: CSS file (SpryTabbedPanels.css) to format the panel, and JavaScript files (SpryTabbedPanels.js) to make the panel appear and disappear when the visitor clicks the tab.
