DISM The Deployment Image Engineering Equipment Servicing and Management tool (DISM) ship with business editions of Windows 7. Using the DISM, you can organize your photos online and offline from the Windows operating system, including drawings for the spread and people to the virtual machine. Windows Image (wim.) files used to deploy Windows 7. You can run at a command prompt DISM administrator by following these steps: 1. In the Command Prompt window, enter the dism /? To view the available commands for working with images online, enter dism / online /?. Although DISM is designed to work primarily with offline image and your image is mounted, you can use DISM few commands to get important information about the operating system running on your computer life. For example, if you want to display a list of Windows editions to which a computer can be upgraded, you can enter the following command: dism / online / get-targeteditions You can adjust the boot mount or install the image by using the utility DISM. The Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool provides a command to work with WIM image. The syntax for image mounting: dism / mount-Wim / wimfile: Path / index: Index / mountdir: MountPath where Path is the full path to the WIM image, Index is the position index of the number of pictures in the picture. Wim file to apply, and MountPath is the location of the directory where you want to mount the image, such as: dism / mount-Wim / wimfile: c: winpe_x86isosourcesboot.wim / index: 1 / mountdir: c: Win7 You can then modify the image required.
