It describes the approach for modeling a complex system consisting of people, devices, and software agents in the environment is changed (sometimes known as sociotechnical systems distributed). Thinking in terms of agent (which they define as human and human-made components of the system), they argued, could change the way people think about software and can perform the task. This book offers an integrated and coherent set of concepts and models, presents a model on three levels of abstraction corresponding to a layer of motivation (in which goals, objectives, and system requirements described), the layer design, and implementation layer.
