Robert Bill's Jython for Java Programmers from New Riders is an important introduction to the complexity of a merger between two popular object-oriented language, Python and Java. It directed the Java programmers who want to incorporate Python rather than vice versa, but the utter symmetry of merging two object-oriented language created Escheresque problem in perspective. Missing functionality is implemented gradually with nuts-and-bolts Java functions and ports libraries to Java (GL4Java). Rows of "100 percent pure Java" ports eventually lead to devour the elegant Python scripting language, which is also object oriented. Like eating Python Java, Python also takes Java. Conversely, jythonc will make Java class that can be imported by the "java" Java interpreter and compiler "javac." Java programmers will have the luxury of importing and using succinct Jython classes rather than writing lines of Java code verbose original. Confusing complexity described by Bill in Jython for Java Programmers, which presents either as a standalone Jython, the Java language and comes as the implementation class in Java. Jython is not a Java foundation class, but Bill is a cornerstone book in itself.
