Using the Push / Pull Tool If you've been? See people camping tents that arise from flat to fully formed, you have an idea how SketchUp's Push? / Pull works equipment. In this step, you use the Push / Pull tool to transform a simple box. Use the Rectangle tool to draw a box, then click the button or select Camera Iso -> Standard Views -> Iso. You even may want to use the Orbit tool, to get a good view of the three faces of the box, as shown below. Select the Rectangle tool and move the cursor to a different face and a point grid. When the cursor is on the face, a tool tip said the face.?? When the cursor is above the endpoint or midpoint, a marker on the tip of a pencil color changes and you see the message as a tool tip. In the next step, you use the end point and midpoint to draw a rectangle on the top surface of the box. With the Rectangle tool, click on the front, right corner and then move to the middle point at the back of the box, as shown below. With Push / Pull tool (P), click the face on the left and move the mouse forward and backward. This left the face to stop, and create a new vertical faces in the model. With Push / Pull, push the vertical face again. As you push the face as shown below, you reduce the volume of the model, making it smaller. Continue to encourage face until you reach the end of the back of the box and then click OK. Face locked into the back edge and then when you click, the face disappeared. Encouraging this face all the way back until it reaches the opposite face to remove it completely.
