Issues such as plant optimization and control of the important confined to industrial engineers are naturally embedded in the design. Model Predictive Control System Design and Implementation Using MATLAB proposed a method for the design and implementation of MPC systems use the basic functions that provide the following benefits: continuous and discrete-time MPC problem resolved within the framework of a similar design; parsimonious parametric representation of the trajectory control raises an efficient computational algorithm and better performance on-line, and discrete-time representation that is more general than the MPC design which became synonymous with the traditional approach to choice of parameters. After the theoretical presentations, detailed coverage is given to three industrial applications: a food extruder, motor and magnetic bearing systems. Technical contents of this book, mainly based on advances in joint venture with state-space model and the basic functions that the author was a major contributor, will attract researchers and practitioners to control, particularly control of the process.
