Although there are many introductory texts SAS programming, statistical methods that use only text SAS as a software option for the analysis of scarce data. While this is understandable from a marketing perspective, it is clear the text will serve the needs of many thousands of students and professionals who want to learn how to use a basic introduction to the SAS out they usually receive from taking introductory statistics courses. Many topics covered in standard text statistical methods are equipped with more advanced material suitable for both in a statistical program used was included, so that certain aspects of the SAS procedure can be illustrated.
