ToPNoC contains: Revised version of the selection of the best papers from the workshops and tutorials at the annual conference of Petri net; special section / issue in specific subareas (similar to that published in Advances in Petri Nets series), other papers are invited for publication in ToPNoC; papers delivered directly to ToPNoC by their authors. This is the first volume of ToPNoC. It contains revised and extended versions of selected best papers from the workshop held at the 28th International Conference on Application and Theory of Petri Nets and Other Models Concurrency, which took place in Siedlce, Poland, June 25 to 29, 2007. The 13 papers in this book covers various topics related to concurrency, including: concurrency teaching, language processes, process mining, software engineering, visualization technique of state space; timed Petri net, landscape engineering and systems hardware.
