Today, knowledge-based management system includes a data warehouse as their core component. Data is integrated in the data warehouse was analyzed by the so-called On-Line Analytical Processing (OLAP) applications that are designed, among others, to discover trends, patterns of behavior, and anomalies and to discover dependencies between data. Massive amount of data that is integrated and complexity of integrated data for more and more often from the WEB-based, XML-based, spatio-temporal objects, and multimedia systems, making data integration and processing challenges. The goal of THE NEW TREND IN DATA WAREHOUSING AND DATA ANALYSIS is fourfold: First, to bring together the latest research and practical achievements in DW and OLAP technologies.
