Various methods are used in terrorism informatics comes from Computer Science, Informatics, Statistics, Mathematics, Linguistics, Social Sciences, and Public Policy and the method involved in the collection of large amounts of information from sources which are varied and many and many types in various languages. Information fusion and information technology analysis techniques including data mining, data integration, language translation technology, and image and video processing that play a central role in the detection, prevention, and remediation of terrorism. As a result, there is little effort to link research in the discipline of informatics domain terrorism taken. TERROR INFORMATICS: Knowledge Management and Data Mining for Homeland Security will provide an interdisciplinary and comprehensive survey of state-of-the-art of terrorism informatics domain along three basic dimensions: methodological issues in terrorism research; information infusion techniques to support terrorism prevention, detection, and response, and legal, social, privacy, and data confidentiality challenges and approaches. The methodological issues that influence the trends, achievements, root causes, and failure in the study of terrorism would be treated within the context of the methods of taking and developing, sharing, and applying the methodology of terrorism informatics and resources.
