In recent years, video coding paradigm has shifted from frame-based approach to content-based approach, particularly with the finalization of the ISO multimedia coding standard, MPEG-4. To produce video content, video should be segmented into objects because their videos and tracked across video frames. Capital-based coding is content-based coding technique is used to code synthetic objects that have become an important part of video content. Model-based coding included to provide background information for synthetic object coding in MPEG-4.
